Not only is the reception poor at home, but it is reliably UNreliable when driving north on HWY 85 and 101, regularly dropping calls for no apparent reason, even when reception shows 3 or 4 bars on the phone. Then, there have been billing problems every month this past quarter; I was not credited for an online payment that I made and was disconnected; I double paid the payment to get reconnected and AT&T suddenly reimbursed to my bank account the amount that they owed me (no explanation, no apology) and waived my reinstatement fee ($25) but snuck that same fee on my bill ($25) the following month. When I called again, they said it was an error (it only took me 40 min. on the phone to sort this out again. I have had nothing but billing issues with AT&T and will transfer to another carrier.

Works even in the basement of a commercial building. No way that you can get Cingular, Sprint, and AT&T GSM coverage in the same area.

no reception in my house or around my house. to use it we have to go about five blocks away from my house. good phone /no network.

AT&T GSM sucks!! They were OK when 1st signed up 8 months ago. It has bee really bad in the past 3 - 4 months. Don't know if this is due to more people signing up or what. The customer service sucks more than their reception!!

The Reception is 0-1 and have to try holding the phone in multiple angles. If you use a Cingular TDMA from a different state, the signal level is between 4-5. Cingular should provide an option of GSM or TDMA for this area.

Very Poor reception in Saratoga Foothills. Nearly no usable reception unless you point your phone in a certain direction, stand on your head and remain completely motionless during your conversation.
