Recently, calls are dropped, poor reception through Verizon. Customers say they receive a recording for my phone here in Los Altos "this call may not be connected, try again later". Very frustrating to do business in the heart of Silicon Valley and receive this type of cell coverage.

Verizon coverage works really well anywhere I've been in the San Jose area (usually constant 4 bars and fast download speeds), as long as I'm at least a mile north of Willow Glen. Unfortunately, I live in Willow Glen and get maybe 1 bar at best and rarely get a consistent data link, even when I'm outside.

The Sprint coverage maps for my area all say best all green, the actual is yes spotty voice coverage, spotty 3g and not 4 g even though the maps say best or great coverage. So this means Sprint is legally running a scam on all of us. All Sprint users complain but stays becuase the others Verizon and AT&T or most expensive. Sprint users are cheap or trapped in a contract. Yes me too cheap. So when Sprint raises prices on worst coverage we get stuck cuz Verizon and AT&T will raise prices as they have the undoubtedly best coverage everywhere. I know I used to use ATT and Verizon when my employers paid for my phones. Now that I pay for the phone I went with the cheapest solution. Oh well Sprint sucks everyone knows it and they are allowed to lie about the covererge. I suggest you pay more for better coverage at Verizon and ATT! Or get cheap monthly rates with worst covergage with Sprint. Theres is a reason why Sprint is cheap, poorly run company, poor services, low prices... .

Reception is horrendous. A lot of new construction going on around Valley Mall, residential AND commercial. AT&T is going to have a lot of unhappy customers new to the area if they don't improve it soon. It boggles the mind that construction for the new Apple Headquarters is going on just across Hwy. 280 and AT&T hasn't done a thing.

The worst Carrier I have had to date. constant 1-2 bar 3g with occasional 4LTE. My house has constant dropped call and my work its constant 1-2 3gbars... .Sprint said they would be upgrading 4lte all over my area by Feb... .BS its June and my service is still a joke.

Metropcs service is frustrating. They shouldn't be allowed to use the term 4g lte it just doesn't work in the whole bay area. Dropped calls, mms are no easy task and trying to use navigation / maps is just impossible.

Originally service was 4 bars. Over the past few months the service has steadily declined. Now virtually no service. Voice 0-1 Bar. Data None. Calls dropped every three minutes. Not sure how you sell cell phone service when there is no service. Phone not the problem. Two phones, same issue, take the phones to Santa Cruz all bars, 4G service. Sprint in San Jose is dead. Stay away. Sprint needs to come out and tell people what's going on.

I just moved to San Jose from San Leandro. I thought Sprint's coverage was bad before, but now it's unusable. The voice quality at my new apartment is so bad I can't make or receive calls there. They sent me an Airave device to route calls through the internet, but that's unusable at least 90% of the time. My phone won't connect to the Airave unless I call tech support (through Skype on my laptop) and go through a tedious reset procedure. When I leave the apartment and come back, the phone won't connect again. The 4G LTE network is unusable through the whole Bay Area. The CDMA network is fast enough to stream Pandora in the car maybe 50% of the time. Looking up addresses on Google Maps is an exercise in frustration. I usually have to switch to airplane mode and switch back to get a 3G connection that works (slowly). I've decided to quit calling tech support and get out of my contract early. I just need a phone that works.

Little or no AT&T reception! Dropped calls! Can't receive calls anywhere in my home! Use to work perfectly. Something changed. What? Very expensive contract for lack of service! Hours on phone with tech people. They don't know what to do. Going to switch carriers!
