Terrible cell data service via ATT at SJ Airport as well as downtown SJ. Atrocious. Web pages just hanging up.

Verizon

1 Out of 5 (1 star) | DeAnza Blvd. at Bollinger | Really All of Stevens Creek To Bollinger, DeAnza T, Cupertino, CA 95014 |

I generally cannot receive calls at all. Outgoing calls voice usually works but typically only 1 start. Best case two stars. LTE Never, EVER works. Data usually drops down to 3G, or worse. Siri on an iPhone does not function at all. Email and Text Message take extraordinarily long to deliver (10-30 minutes). Service in Cupertino in general is spotty, but this region Stevens Creek to Bollinger, DeAnza to Blaney seems to be the epicenter of bad.

Reception near evergreen village square where I live is very poor. Frequent dropped calls. Its very frustrating., especially while expecting interview calls for employment. I have been a Verizon girl for over 15 yrs. Seriously considering to change my provider this time around.

1 bar on 3G in Silicon Valley. Are you kidding me? I had to move off of my blackberry because Sprint 'upgraded' their towers for 4G, so now I have a windows 4G phone that only sees 3G. Contract was up a year ago. Moving off of Sprint...

Verizon

1 Out of 5 (1 star) | Birdland Neighborhood | El Camino Real and Wolfe Rd.Area, Sunnyvale, CA 94087 |

Inside my house I have one bar or no signal and frequently switch to Data Roaming. Must use home Wi-Fi if I want to use Internet on phone while at home. Neighborhood isn't any better. I am frequently in one bar or Data Roaming while walking around neighborhood. If it wasn't for Xfinity offering free Wi-Fi fkr existing customer's via other Xfinity home internet connections I would not be able to use my phone's internet while walking around neighborhood. Since the beginning of 2016 I have been missing calls while at home. I get voicemail notification when I leave neighborhood and enter a location with decent Verizon signal coverage. Not happy and I am looking for something better. I am thinking of going back to MetroPCS as my experience was immensely better.

AT&T

4 Out of 5 (4 stars) | Curtner Ave. | Cherry Ave., San Jose, CA 95125 |

Calls are good outside. Call quality depends a lot on your hardware. I have LG G3 and G4's which have enhancement settings to improve voice call clarity. The G4 sounds better than the G3 and still the G3 sounds better than most other peoples phones that I've tried. Inside my house I was getting 2 bars and people would say "what did you say" when on my cell. So I bought a used AT&T MicroCell 3G off craigslist for $40 and now I have 5 bars. The MicroCell is free to use with your active AT&T account but you have to login to a webpage and add the phone numbers of people who can use it. 15 max people on the list and it will support 4 simultaneous calls. We have service from MVNO's that use AT&T and they can connect through the MicroCell. I have StraightTalk and my wife and kids have PureTalk but my mom who is on Cricket (which is owned by AT&T) cannot be added to the list. I'm getting ready to give T-Mobile a try again because they give so much for so cheap compared to AT&T.

1 Out of 5 (1 star) | Pleasant Knull | Mt. Pleasant and Marten, San Jose, CA 95148 |

Been an AT&T customer for years, never experienced real issues. Recently moved to the area and have the poorest reception EVER I rarely get a good phone call in, usually having to resort to dialing from a land line. Called multiple times and all they say is we have an antenna in the area and its most likely the phone. I have logged a case with the FCC on there negligence for the area

Sprint

Sprint has been repeatedly notified that they have a dead zone in this area for several years. They do nothing to fix it. If you are sending a kid to the elementary school near this area check coverage before you sign a contract!
