AT&T

We switched to AT&T from Verizon to reduce our TV contract fees. It was the worst phone decision we have made - 3-6 times the rate of call drops. As part of the switch, AT&T offered to buy our phones on the "switch to AT&T" program. It seems that they did not pay us what I thought we should have gotten - possibly debatable. When we tried to use the phones in France, they would not work - "Emergency calls only". When we switched back to Verizon, the AT&T phones would not work and we had to buy new phones.

Voice calls are good and I have no issues with texting. Data can be slow at times but it always works and loads my pages. Way better than AT&T

I moved to San Jose and have been calling AT&T since. Delayed messages incoming / outgoing, calls rolling to my voicemail instead of my phone and the worst voice quality I have ever experienced. Oh don’t get me started on dropped calls “call failed” I have purched 3 total new Apple devices with new sims and still the same issues. The data is trash too, I have to toggle on and off airplane mode at least once a day to get my unlimited data to work. Save youself time and headache and do not use AT&T. I am leaving ASAP

AT&T Cell signal strength and connectivity is going downhill...

Number of bars for reception ranges from no bars to max of 2 bars. Can't hear what party on other end is saying. Reception quality is very poor and garbled. AT&T marketing deception and ploy for them to say they have coverage. What we need to see is QUALITY and STRENGTH of coverage

1 bar if I'm lucky. I live in Campbell and never would have done a contract with Sprint if I knew their service here was so poor. Abysmal. Will never use Sprint again after contract ends. STAY AWAY

Getting worse reception everywhere, the focus is not on service, just new phones and contracts that increase revenue, was getting better, but is now sliding on reception for phones

For 10 years in home reception was good. Then several months ago it became terrible. Sometimes I can't make a call in my home, calls are dropped or there is static., When I first called after having to go through hoops, Verizon said a tower was being repaired. That was about seven months ago and nothing has improved. I live about a mile or so from Google

Only one bar at home on both of our phones, but still good connection when driving are walking around. Have not had major connection issues unless hiking on trails in the hills to the West (many dead spots there). Sometimes lose signal from inside a 2016 Toyota RAV4, but on average adequate coverage in Silicon Valley. Note: Previously had Sprint but sometimes there was no reception at a home in Cupertino and spotty coverage elsewhere.

Decent coverage outsie the house but no reception within the house. They want $150 for providing microcell for something which is their fault. Heard Verizon has better reception in the area. Need to check along with Lyka etc who have lower price plans.
