Awful phone service in the area, calls routinely drop, feels as if we are in the boonies despite living in a major city. Possibly the hills but idk. Went for a hike up Santa Teresa hill one day and when I reached the top I had perfect mobile connection, go figure.

Been an AT&T customer for years, never experienced real issues. Recently moved to the area and have the poorest reception EVER I rarely get a good phone call in, usually having to resort to dialing from a land line. Called multiple times and all they say is we have an antenna in the area and its most likely the phone. I have logged a case with the FCC on there negligence for the area

Sprint has been repeatedly notified that they have a dead zone in this area for several years. They do nothing to fix it. If you are sending a kid to the elementary school near this area check coverage before you sign a contract!

Had a software issue with my sons iPhone 6S. Got it approved BEFOREHAND by the T-Mobile store to send in for warranty. Received replacement phone that had severe scrapes on glass and then they deny the warranty on the phone I sent it saying it was "bent". Phone is not bent. I asked to get the phone back. They refused. Now they are charging me 340.00 dollars for the denied warranty claim. This is a clown organization. The talk to you like your a child and their network is severely lacking. Small claims court here we come!

AT&T has good coverage here. I use my hotspot for wifi connection in Starbucks frequently because it is better connection for my PC. Also first floors of buildings in SR have concrete ceilings blocking wifi and cellphone comm ability. Outside the signal is fine. I live on 4th floor and get 2 bars on iPad and three on iPhone.

I have Galaxy Note 4. Most of the time I get only 2 bars and 3G instead of 4G LTE. Verizon acknowledged that the 4G LTE signal here is marginal and told me do not hold your breath waiting for improvement.
