I use A LOT of Data, which I don't care about coverage when I have wifi, but right now I don't have wifi and running on simply the non existent Sprint towers. OMG makes me so mad ! I'm an avid article reader and Youtube viewer... Videos are constantly blurry and buffing every 10 secs. Makes me just want to chunk my phone out the balcony. Let's see, there's a certain spot I found in my apartment that gives me 3-4 bars off and on and that's in my kitchen.. Next to my fridge. Other areas in my apt are mainly 1-2 bars or always no bars and searching... searching... .searching for signal. Even when I drive out to El Camino, it's still searching for signal, it's annoying when I'm trying to get directions on MAPS. But you know where I do get all 5 Bars ?... . Santana Row. Of course it would be where the rich are. Don't they just get it all ? Geez sprint, for every hundred I drop each month, you'd think you would at least give me good service. Ohh and not to mention when I'm at home, my calls are constantly dropped. I tell my friends I'd prefer them to text me. My contract is over in March 2014, YAY ! So I'm definitely searching for a better carrier in my area but seems like all carriers have been failing lately. Was this review helpful to you?
Voice drops in and out, need to hold the phone at a specific spot near the window to keep the phone call. Ironically though, if I'm outside on the balcony which is all of 20ft. from the window... it doesn't work, much less any other part of the 1st floor apt. I live in.Was this review helpful to you?
I regularly call Sprint to complain about the reception of one-two bars at home. Even outside the reception dips significantly in San Jose. Sprint blames my phone- I reboot, they reset cell service, etc. with no effect. They blame my phone but then why does it work so well when I drive to other parts of the Bay like SFO or SF? Tired of being treated like I am crazy. Friend uses AT&T with similar issues. Was this review helpful to you?
Since April 2013 have lost use of my cell phone... .dropped calls, unable to use Internet, etc. Went to the Sprint Store on Stevens Creek Blvd.many times and they said phone is ok. Sprint is putting in new towers fixing old towers. Will be completed in July 28, 2013. Didn't happen. In the meantime many calls to Sprint, a lot of "we are working on it". It was escalated to "Tech Support" and still no bars on my phone. Sprint kept giving me the run around. So as of August 31, 2013 I still cannot use my phone in my area but apparently Sprint does not consider this a problem. It has been a nightmare. They leave a message saying to call the "888" number which you have to go through the whole scanario and the problem does not get resolved. I will not use Sprint any more. At least you can depend on land line. Yes, you cannot carry the phone with you but what you pay for cell phones and the monthly charges plus no customer / tech support to resolve problems is horrible. Was this review helpful to you?
The last couple of months, my phone has been having intermittent problems with coverage. Anywhere from 0-1 bars several times thru the day all over San Jose. I can't get reception at work 95119 and my home is even worse. I will have to switch. I have been a long time Sprint customer but I think they are having major problems. Everytime I call they say the towers are good and suggested I take my phone in. The phone is good, the towers suck! Waste of MONEY!Was this review helpful to you?
Great Reception. Some slight LTE problems at peak times. Was this review helpful to you?
I can hardly get 1 or 2 bars, and data is even worse. The Sprint store 0.2 mi away doesn't get any reception either. Very poor service. Was this review helpful to you?
Usually one bar or even EDGE coverage! All of my neighbors with AT&T have the same problem. Call straight to voicemail half the time. Then AT&T makes you pay $200 for a Microcell to be able to get phone calls in your own home (in San Jose, 10th largest city in the US and the capital of Silicon Valley). My daughter has the same problem in her apartment (a block away from eBay headquarters). ATT claimed there's no issue in her area, so won't believe her. ATT is the worst (the entire company, not just for wireless... I speak from experience for business and residential phone service, internet, u-verse).Was this review helpful to you?
