Since around 1pm on August 1 (3 days ago), signal went from consistently 4 bars to now wildly fluctuating between 0-3. Sprint insisted for 2 days that all towers were working normally in the area. Finally yesterday they told me upgrades were going on at any given time through September 7, 2012 since April of this year. Representative was unable to give me any useful information about work being done to towers specifically near me. Basically, you may not have service for another month or more, tough luck. Service went from very good to almost unusable.

I am amazed at how AT&T is still in business. I am stuck to the phone thanks to their expensive contract cancellation fee but I wonder why people sign up for AT&T in the first place. The place where I live has 1 to no bars from AT&T towers and when I call them, they said everything is great! Their solution was to "buy" a microcell which is itself $199. I asked them to give me one for free which they declined. So I was "forced" to buy one. Two more months and I am done with AT&T.

my boyfriend is moving to Fort Knox Kentucky and I live in California. We are both on Metro Pcs, and it works for us out here. But we are trying to find a good phone company that will work in Fort Knox, before he moves in august! please let me know, I'm worried because it seems like no phone service is good :(

When we moved in the area in April 2011, the reception seemed alright. I suddenly started seeing reception issues in May 2011 - almost seemed like a tower was decommissioned or something. Ever since, the coverage in the area near Mill Creek community is very poor. I get at most 2 bars sometimes but the quality quality is very poor 95% of the times. Call drops often too. Our building is not even obstructed by other tall buildings or anything. AT&T really needs to address this issue. I can make calls just fine a couple of miles from here.

I've been a customer since before Verizon was called GTE. I always thought Verizon had the best reception but I can no longer say that. It has such poor reception in Fremont, CA that I'm seriously considering switching carriers. Put up more towers or I'm switching!

for two days no reception no signal inside the house have to go down to montetey rd. for the phone to work contacted virgin mobile but still no recovery day 2 not used to this almost never had a problem with signal wel see what happens -

95% of the time, can't call out or receive call. Have to go outside of the house to make a call. Use call forwarding to the house phone to get incoming cell phone call.
