got sick and tired of AT&T, moved to Sprint and never dropped a call. This is the best cell service I got in Monta Vista areas. My wife go Verizon and it works best also. Was this review helpful to you?
Amazing that in the heart of Silicon Valley no coverage within a mile radius... ETA of Jun 28,11 for new tower come and long gone.. ATT cusstomer service says even without new tower reception should be good... Amazing that this has been reported for years and nothing has been done abt it.. Keep saying they are almost ready with a new tower... Have heard that for a few years now! Not sure if that will make any difference. Many folks in the neighbourhood are with Verizon if they need coverage when at home. Ironic thing is that I saw an AT&T technitian struggling to connect with his office using his cell phone while working in the area :-)Was this review helpful to you?
No 3G. Between 0 and 3 bars (out of 4) on 2G. Outbound calls fail or are very noisy and crackly. Was this review helpful to you?
reception is only good to make a call but you have to find a good spot indoors, if you go outside you might get 2 bars... .Was this review helpful to you?
Signal mostly oscillates from 0 to 3. Reception is appalling. Have to walk around the house to even get a signal that allows us to call out. Once the signal drops to 1 or 2 the communication become garbled to the point that you can no longer understand. We are so out of AT&T the minute we can get out without penalties. Was this review helpful to you?
I've had 4 Virgin Mobile phones. On Sprint's network, I dream of dropped calls because 80-90% of the time, I get no bars and not connected. Every once in a while I can get a couple bars, but it doesn't last more than say 20 seconds or a minute. The phones are on a very old, dirt cheap plan and strictly for emergency use while traveling, but that is insufficient these days. Was this review helpful to you?
Very poor reception in this area for AT&T customers. Tried with several Motorola phones which have very good reception I other areas. I have no idea where the nearest cell towers are and would appreciate comments. Was this review helpful to you?
"There are no current reception comments currently listed. Please check back later." Gee, I guess no one in San Jose uses Virgin Mobile. Was this review helpful to you?
Cell reception at my house is terrible. I had to purchase a MicroCell from AT&T because reception at my house was so bad (and the iphone had not come out on Verizon yet). Even that is terrible. Still drops calls, sometimes poor voice quality, hands off to the tower sometimes (which makes calls drop or start to be unintelligible because the tower signal strength is only 1 or at most 2 bars). When the new iphone (iphone 5) comes to Verizon I will probably switch carriers. Was this review helpful to you?
