I am lucky to get 2 bars near the school. Verizon needs to change this! Other AT&T users are getting 4 bars, while us Verizon users are stuck with 1. Not to mention, we are paying more money for our service! Ridiculous! Was this review helpful to you?
I have been complaining about dropped calls, calls going directly to voicemail for months. They replaced my expensive phone once. Nothing changed. I get 0-3 bars standing outside my house. Signal jumps up and down constantly. Currently they are checking the towers but I have doubts they are doing anything. Before I switch carriers I will probably invest $300 in a cell signal repeater / amp that "might" improve the signal inside the small house. If I have to swich, Verizon seems to be the carrier of choice around here. Was this review helpful to you?

Service has gone from bad to worse in this location in just the last month or two. Used to get one or two bars of signal but it was nearly always 3G so had no problem accessing the internet. Lately I rarely have 3G, dropping down to Edge or just 2G and my fancy smart phone will not access the internet using Edge data, it just tells me there is no connection or that connection timed out. Grrr so frustrating! Was this review helpful to you?
I get great reception and have only had 1 or 2 dropped calls in 2 years. Great reception. Great prices. Was this review helpful to you?
I've had 4 Virgin Mobile phones. On Sprint's network, I dream of dropped calls because 80-90% of the time, I get no bars and not connected. Every once in a while I can get a couple bars, but it doesn't last more than say 20 seconds or a minute. The phones are on a very old, dirt cheap plan and strictly for emergency use while traveling, but that is insufficient these days. Was this review helpful to you?
"There are no current reception comments currently listed. Please check back later." Gee, I guess no one in San Jose uses Virgin Mobile. Was this review helpful to you?
Cell reception at my house is terrible. I had to purchase a MicroCell from AT&T because reception at my house was so bad (and the iphone had not come out on Verizon yet). Even that is terrible. Still drops calls, sometimes poor voice quality, hands off to the tower sometimes (which makes calls drop or start to be unintelligible because the tower signal strength is only 1 or at most 2 bars). When the new iphone (iphone 5) comes to Verizon I will probably switch carriers. Was this review helpful to you?
ATT rates this area as full 3G. It is not 3G. I experience often NO Services, 1 bar, many dropped calls, intermittent connection. ATT customer service are complete liars. As a matter of fact service from Ruby Rd up towards the hills is about the same. Evergreen HS is lousy as well. Verizon in this area has a better signal. I will terminate my ATT contact and likely move to Verizon since ATT is not interested in service and only making excuses for the service. I think they should rate this area from 3G to NO service then everyone would not be mislead they can't use their service reliability in this area. Was this review helpful to you?
Seems to have gotten worse. Have to walk around house to get enough bars to text friends. Was this review helpful to you?
