T-Mobile

Just moved from another state to south San Jose, CA. T-Mobile has no reception. On lucky days, I get 1 bar for a few minutes. Frustrating! I'm going to switch to Cingular (although I hope to God that they fired all AT&T wireless customer service people)

Everywhere I go I get great reception. I think I may have to switch to Verizon because of costs. Nextel is pretty expensive, especially when you have 4 lines on it. But coverage wise I get better coverage then anyone I know. In places where it is dead to all other carriers I have full reception. And I make great phone calls on just one bar of signal.

Service has been good here for years; now it is terrible. Calls take forever to establish and often drop after a few seconds. It's bad on the highways, too. Time to change carriers, I guess.

I get anywhere from 0 (zero) bars "Network Search" to 1 bar (lots of dropped calls and lots of direct to voicemail). The worst cell coverage ever, next to none at all.

I have 1 bar on the street, but pull in to my driveway and any where in my house? Fogetaboutit!

No reception on the street or in my home. It may show a bar or two but when you answer it drops the call.

Great, but this phone after prolonged usage, buzzes and buzzes everywhere you go... it's like a GPRS leak or something THE BUZZING!

Rock solid all over town including indoors. I also have a Cingular phone for work and the reception is very poor by comparison. I wonder though, how much the model of phone(or condition of the phone) has to do with an individual's reception experience? Some people report bad coverage with Verizon in San Jose area, but my experience has been great.

Inside wood-frame house, reception is usually 1-2 bars but reception drops to zero frequently, often every 3-10 minutes, requiring reconnection; it has not improved with ATT merger. Outside, same problem altho bars are more constant; calls still drop frequently. Cingular will not take a trouble report unless I provide part of the lead family-member's SSN which I don't want to know and shouldn't.

Not bad in this area for Cingular, although if you are inside or near a building, reception tends to fluctuate some. Cingular is WAY better than T-Mobile in this area. My friend came over to my house and he got NO signal whatsoever on a Inno 90 phone. I had a average 2 bars out of 4 in my house on the Nokia 8390. This phone is only single-band 1900mhz. If I had a dual band phone, I could imagine i'd be getting more signal.
