I’m happy to see I’m not alone in dealing with the laughable service Sprint provides, but what will it take for them to take notice? Every person I know that had Sprint has switched, and once my contract is up, I to will be switching to a provider. I’m not sure what is more infuriating, their customer service, or network coverage. There has not been one time that my phone has been on 4g... ..the entire time I’ve had the phone... ..never! I do not have WiFi, so I rely strictly on data, and it’s so maddening I almost want to throw the piece of s$$$$ into the river. It’s better used for target practice, not a phone! What’s really super awesome is how it will semi working... ... keep in mind, it’s always painfully slow, but it will be doing the best it can, and then it just stops working, says no internet connection, poor internet connection, it is absolutely ridiculous! I agree that every carrier has areas that have poor reception, but give me a break! I know many people with various carriers, and the common consistent thing is mine is the only one NOT working. My friend has Verizon, switched from sprint, and guess why?? My phone said no service, and was unable to do one thing with it. My friends Verizon not only worked, but was on 4g and full bars. Sprint has said so many times “we are working on that” I think I may vomit if I hear it again! They can do nothing but suck! It’s also a good idea to train your employees so they can better assist you. I cannot complain about associates in store, they have always been pretty great, however the phone customer service is a joke! Every person you speak with gives you a different story, they do not listen to you, and it seems like they are to busy joining into the loud laughing chatter you hear in the background. Seriously how many good customers do you have to lose before you realize how bad you suck! Get it together, because you are about to lose another $200 a month! I believe that Sprint was forged in the depths of hell by satan himself! I feel like every time I have to talk t them it takes 5 years off of my life! Do something please! Unless of course you enjoy your loyal customers having such a bad opinion and crappy service! You should be paying people, not the other way around!Was this review helpful to you?
Sprint is awful in North Highlands. My family and I (4 total) have had Virgin Mobile or Boost Mobile for several years (they are both subdivisions of Sprint) in Antelope area and never had problems at all with reception. I switched to Sprint a couple months ago and have 0 bars literally everywhere. It was so bad Sprint sent me something called a Magic Box so I could get reception at home. I still don’t get reception anywhere else though. I get 1 or 0 bars at work (Rio Linda), zero bars anywhere in north highlands and surrounding areas from Watt and Elkhorn down to Walegra all the way out to Scandia. I get 4 bars in parts of Roseville and 1 or 0 bars in other parts. Home is basically the only place I get reception and that’s only because of the magic box they sent. I can’t wait for my contract to end so I can switch back to AT&T. My phone is basically unusable unless I’m home.. but at that point I’m connected to WiFi anyways. I guess I don’t ever have to worry about going over my 3GB data. The last 5 months with Sprint I’ve never used more than 1GB data and I work 5 days a week so it’s not like I’m home all day, I just physically can’t use data because the reception is non existent. I have an iPhone and my roommate has a new galaxy and she doesn’t get good reception with Sprint either. She has 1-2 bars basically everything she goes too.Was this review helpful to you?
I get either one bar or no service at all. Phone shows I’m connected to WiFi but just says searching or that I have no connection! Can’t even use data, it says the same thing. Boyfriend next to me on his phone (metro pcs) is just fine. Been with AT&T since it was Cingular and I’ve never had anywhere close to this TERRIBLE of reception. We’ve lived in this area for 4 days and haven’t been able to use my phone at home ONCE!Was this review helpful to you?

Verizon used to be best hands down but you pay for it. Now it is just as bad or worse then the cheapest plans from the companies that don't even have their own cell towers. After complaining five times in the last 2 years I finally got someone at Verizon that would tell me the truth. It was a business decision my Verizon to cut their data bandwidth to consumers and shift it focus on government and large corporations. It's been about 4 years since my Verizon service where I live turned off like a light switch. It used to run faster than my Wi-Fi. Now I can't do much of anything with the bandwidth they allow. I have to switch to Wi-Fi to run my phone. Might as well just get the cheapest service because they all suck.Was this review helpful to you?
in the capitol city of the most populated state one might think that cell "service" would be good. it's not. zero bars in any down stairs room. for a phone call, I need to go into the back yard for clear reception. it's a good thing that a.t.t. doesn't charge and excessive amount. oh wait, they do.Was this review helpful to you?

Within the last 4 yrs I’ve gone from AT&T to T-Mobil and now Verizon. I only left AT&T because I was forced into looking for family plans and though At&t’s Reception was great even with one bar sometimes their rates just couldn’t work with our budget so this the move to T-Mobile. We left T-Mobile because Verizon’s new family plan cost about the same and T-Mobiles service was horrible in our area BUT surprisingly Verizon’s reception wasn’t any better and as a matter of fact I think they are even worst. Everything is just really slow. It is so upsetting and we just recently contracted with them so we’ll be here for a bit. I use my phone especially for navigation and it’s always way behind where I’m actually at on the road... so frustrating. This service level is unacceptable if not dangerous to users. It has been this way for years. I guess I will have to transfer to Sprint or Verizon users say their service is 3-4 bars. Wake up AT& T!Was this review helpful to you?
