AT&T

Cingular has horrible customer service and poor or no reception in the area from North Natomas to West Roseville, also poor going up Hwy. 99 towards Marysville / Yuba City. I will never be a Cingular customer again!

Good service. Few problems. Good pricing on the plan. But, if you travel outside california, you are out of luck

Cingular sucks in this region. Every time you try a call - it fails the first time. If you are lucky enough, it connects the second time. Usually, you have be patient for a third try. After you get connected, you've got to shout into the phone like you are talking to some one on Jupiter or Pluto on old simplex, co-axial networks. Finally, all your hard work pays off, and you will understand how frustrating it is to ask your friend to repeat what he said, everytime. I'm not feeling the least pain to break this contract and jump to a new carrier. I'm with this carrier since 3 yrs, lived around Washington DC, recently moved to Sacramento CA. Carrier and coverage was never a problem in all these 3 yrs, but now - the biggest pain.

The other review from this zipcode is not consistent with the whole area. The area around Kieffer (Albertsons) is abismal, but the rest of the Rosemont area is fair.

I moved to this neighborhood in November. My Sprint phone only works in my driveway and even then poorly. My phone only works now with the ear bud in. My two year contract with Sprint has six more months to go--Sprint is not about to let me out of it. I spent nearly an hour with Sprint "Customer Care" about the broken phone and the poor service. They flat out don't care and characterize one bar as strong service!

Great reception in all of Sacramento. Worse in Lodi area. Cingular's customer service is evil. I bought the phone when I moved from Stockton to Sacramento. They sent the phone to the new address and the bill to the old address. They then deactivated my phone due to non-payment. I called and they reactivated and waived the $35.00 reactivation fee. The next month they sent the bill to the old address again. I had no way of knowing when the bill was due (internet was not set up in my new house yet). This time they would not waive the reactivation fee even though it was THEIR MISTAKE. I spoke with the manager, but still no luck. Cingular's customers pay for their mistakes! Also, my bill is around $10.00 higher per month then they quoted me and I use about 100 minutes less than my limit. Phone roams EVERYWHERE!

It's all about the phone. I have an old AT&T Nokia phone. But it usually gets better reception than most of my friends newer phones. And we're both on Cingular now.

4-5 bars all the time, oh and it is about the phones. I had 0-2 bars with my v400. And once I got my razr. So many bars. I go all around Sacramento with 4-5 bars.
