Was a Sprint customer for 10 yrs. Got tired of all the promises and finally left. Never been happier, my apps actually work! The state should run Sprint out Sacramento. I had a few dangerous situation where I had no Sprint service. Should've, could've sued or complained to the FCC. Cell service is not worth my life!Was this review helpful to you?

Only used 'Obama Phone' for the past 2 ½ - 3 years because I don't care if they are listening. 2 weeks ago switched from TruConnect (unsure of provider) to... ... ... Assurance Wireless (which uses the... ) Sprint network Android 4.4.4 (which I heard rumors that Android was notoriously buggy... AND HOLY-MOLY IT IS!) ZTE phone Model N817 ... not sure of hardware but I think it's something like dual-gerbils with a overhead-hamster. No, THAT would be faster. So, 3 weeks in and (NO EXAGGERATION!) so far it's only been ONE BAR 100% of the time that I'm in MY area(95833), 3 miles west, 2 miles north, 2-3 miles south into midtown, and 3 miles east going into Arden area... ALL ONE BAR! Going PAST 3 miles east you might get 2 bars if your lucky in the Arden area and 3 bars in certain areas going east, but areas mentioned are where I do most my business so that is all I can vouch for. Even if it stayed at 2 bars I would be happy and keep this phone, but because it's always at one bar sometimes a call doesn't come through even if both phones are 3 feet away it won't even go to voicemail. I tried to call my lost phone (i knew was in my room) from a land line and after a few rings... NOT EVEN voicemail, I got a disconnected signal. 3x I called my phone and on the third one it didn't even ring, it just went to voicemail! ZTE phones (Sprint) in South Natomas (95833) are useless... .. *uugh* AND THE BUGS! I haven't even started talking about the buggy OS and I won't cause the bugs alone make this phone a "PASS!" and this is about the providers signal more that the phone itself.Was this review helpful to you?
The service has progressively gotten worse--Most of the carriers are not what they should be, and the advertisements are quite deceiving--Its like using toilet paper, they know you'll pay no matter what the price because you need it now--Im switching back to METRO, my service wasn't any better or any worse, and it's cheaper... .Was this review helpful to you?
I have been a Verizon customer for years. I switched off an old phone this last week to a new iPhone 7. The reception is horrible so far and gotten worse. I just got an iPhone 7 with Verizon and I have had dropped calls, people telling me they can not hear me and one bar most times (which is really no bars) since texts are slow, email horrendous, and phone service with this phone now terrible. A portion of coverage is the quality of the phone and a portion is the signal strength of the provider. Verizon and iPhone 7 in 95864 is horrible.Was this review helpful to you?

The internet is so slow, it's ridiculous. At night time the internet is great, but in the afternoon it is awful. Even outside is terrible. I called customer service and they told me that the coverage was "enhanced" in my area. I thought it was my phone because I have the LG G3, but when I went to my friend's house (about 40 minutes away) my internet was great (more than 20 Mbps) it's awful if you're in the antelope area. Id sometimes even get text messages way later than when it was sent.Was this review helpful to you?
I don't know all the technical stuff, but I do know that my reception is a lot slower and weaker in this area than it was near 17th and G Streets. I'm not happy since right now I use my hot spot to tether my tablet. I've been with Metro since 2005 and feeling kind of let down right now.Was this review helpful to you?
All calls drop or experience significant breaking up. Can never complete a single call that doesn't experience some issue with the quality. Even outside the Sacramento area, my friends on AT&T and other networks consistently have better reception in more areas than America's so-called "largest, most reliable" network. I'm tired of hearing the words, "you're breaking up" on the other end of the phone call, so Verizon, after more than a decade of service, WE'RE breaking up. Goodbye.Was this review helpful to you?
