I rented an apartment and then noticed when I went in there that I have NO SERVICE whatsoever through AT&T in there. I was shocked. How can they even be in business when they're offering no services? What a scam. It's not like we're on the coast up North or something. We're in the middle of a big city. It's inexcusable.

AT&T

1 Out of 5 (1 star) | Rosemont | Mayhew / Tech Center Dr., Sacramento, CA 95826 |

Reception is entirely poor on an always basis. Reception bars are a joke, they occasionally show 3 but instantly disappear. 3G is non existent in my building. I have to go outside and walk a half block to even hope for reception. I'd comment negatively further except it's mostly already been said. AT&T reception completely sucks. Several in our office building have bitten the bullet, changed over to Verizon and have NO issues whatsoever. Come on, AT&T - get your very well paid engineers to fix this. It's rediculous.

AT&T

1 Out of 5 (1 star) | W. North Market St. | National Dr., Sacramento, CA 95834 |

Have ATT. Sometimes calls do not connect. Get at best 2 bars inside building although that fluctuates and sometimes I look like I'm performing some sort of voodoo ritual to get to the exact nexus where the signal will be strongest. Sometimes I get three bars outside the building but that is rare. I'm in an industrial complex area so you'd think they would have towers up the wazoo, but no they don't. Oh, and don't even think of watching video or getting fast video downloads; they are impossible. I get good reception at home finally; live in Carmichael. Contract is up in October and I'll change carriers then, but only after a lot of research. They can read license plates from twenty thousand miles out in space but they can't give us good cell phone technology. Cell phones are just another money sucking super black hole.

Verizon

1 Out of 5 (1 star) | Big Horn Blvd. | Bruceville, Elk Grove, CA 95758 |

I upgraded my phone because Verizon told me it would help the reception problems. I suffered thru the rude customer service at the Verizon store at Bruceville and Laguna, and that was the manager, brought my new phone home only to have the same problems. Anywhere I am in my home or the front or back yard every conversation has dead spots with no voice. As soon as my contract is up I'm going shopping.

AT&T

What service? Pay these guys hard earned money for "SERVICE" that is non-existent. Time to wake up AT&T and deal with your poor performance.

Sprint

I get no reception in my apartment. I can't even count the number of time I have had no reception in downtown Sacramento. I suspect all the carriers sucks just the same, so I don't do anything, but come on. Outside downtown Sacramento I can get no signal? How pathetic? Is it the phone, perhaps. I have a work phone with AT&T that is an old piece that gets full signal everywhere. I buy a fancy "smart" phone and get no reception anywhere. Is it because Sprint doesn't want me to use they services or are they sending me a message to go to another carrier?? Very frustrating.

Sprint

5 Out of 5 (5 stars) | Florin / Franklin, Sacramento, CA 95823 |

I have no problems with Sprint. I have signal damn near everywhere, along with data. On 3G I average 400kbps and on 4G I average 4.6mbps, topping out at 7.2mbps. I used to have Verizon, with them I had Droid1. I had so many deadzones and dropped calls / data that I thought it was the phone, so I switched from Droid1 to Droid Incredible. Same problem, different phone. With Sprint, call quality is superb, as is data, and you can't beat the price.

4 Out of 5 (4 stars) | Sacramento To Singel Spring | 50 and Ponderosa Rd., Sacramento, CA 95823 |

I get pretty good signal here in Sacramento, the other day I went to shingle spring up in the hills and still have signal. I just had T-Mobile for only a few days and never had any drop calls or hang up.
