service sucks... dropped calls all the time... sometimes can't get service at all in my home! Was this review helpful to you?
Verizon was OK outdoors but reception dropped to 1 bar in the house (LG VX6100, Motorola v60, and another LG model... I forgot). I switched to Cingular and now have 5 full bars with my Motorola L6. A friend's Razr gets 5 full bars and my brothers Nokia gets full bars. On top of that, the phone indicates wireless data network (3G?) available. This is all indoors. I guess Cingular has really built out their network in this area since 2005. For service reception: Cingular or any of the roaming partners is highly recommended. Was this review helpful to you?
Usuall 4 or 5 bars, occasionally 3. I am very happy with Cingular. I switched over from Verizon a year ago, because in the prioryear I had alot of trouble with disconnected calls when in this neighborhood. Both companies have good phone support, but IMHO Cingular has better service overall - both with phone usage and with support. Was this review helpful to you?
It's somewhat erratic. Occasionally I get one or two bars, but much of the time there is no reception. At my office, ten blocks up Broadway, it's only a little better. I'm looking for a new provider. Was this review helpful to you?
I had to switch from Nextel because of no reception and constantly dropped calls when I did have reception. Very disappointed with support from Nextel. No sense of caring when my problem was brought to their attention. No help and / or compensation. Was this review helpful to you?
Verizon has been fabulous. Very good reception and wonderful customer support. Switched from Nextel because of no reception and constantly dropped calls. Was this review helpful to you?
If you know the area around Bridgeway Island, the cell works like a champ 200 yards east of Southport on Oakland - problem is we're 200 yards west and that makes all the differance. Dropped calls, never rings, have to stand outside to get one bar that 80% of the time drops. Even with a reception booster (they never work) it does not work well. My wife is with T-Mobile and she takes calls all the time just fine... guess I'm headed that way. Do not go with Nextel Sprint they are evil and their customer service stinks. Plus, all the plans are very expensive for the coverage. DLWas this review helpful to you?
In our apartment complex we have barely any reception whatsoever. Every once in a while a call will come through, but if I take it call it either drops the call or I can only hear one of ever three or so words. Both me and my gal have RAZRs, and I have tried a Samsung phone as well, but to no avail. It's terrible. Was this review helpful to you?
One bar at home. Drop calls all the time, if I even get them. Half a mile in any direction... 3 bars or more. Typical routine is to drive away from my house and find that I have 3 voicemails. Even in three bar zones, I've been told that every fourth word is cut out. Don't get Cingular service around here! I complained about service and they told me that they don't gurantee "conectivity".Was this review helpful to you?
Varies widely between great reception and poor. I'll be talking with no problems and fine reception and then I'll lose all bars. Frustrating! Was this review helpful to you?
