Bars inside and outside vary from zero to three. Calls drop about 50% of the time. Even Sprint is better here.

Fluctuates between 1, 2, and sometimes 3 bars, but mostly only 2. Voice is OK (not great) and data is SLOW!

Terrible reception. Constant dropped calls due to lost signal. Garbled sound. Moving on foot in any direction means the difference between intermittent connection and a lost signal. Wintertime is worse than summer.

Get 1-2 bars when I move around the house with black holes throughout the house. Some spot get zero bar even when outside the house. Sucks!

phone is useless inside the house. get one bar outside.

I usually get 2 bars out of four inside the house, 3-4 outside. I'm actually impressed with the reception I get, even though all of the reviews say reception sucks anywhere.

Coverage sucks for voice service. 3G data coverage is somewhat better. It's no wonder the voice coverage sucks - there are NO cell towers anywhere nearby. This area is smack in the middle between the two closest cell towers, both of which are quite far away. Voice bars fluctuate by the minute between 0 -3 bars sitting in the same location in my house (near Keane and Kipling). It's necessary for me to use inhome wireless network for good data connectivity. Can't rely on a consistently strong 3G signal. While you can fix the data connection by installing a wireless router in the home, there's absolutely nothing you can do to improve the poor voice coverage. Unfortunately, the iPhone will have to go back to ATT and I'll be going back to my Verizon Blackberry, which has excellent voice and data coverage everywhere that I've ever been in the greater Sacramento area.

I've had piss poor reception with Virgin all over the country. Bought a phone when my old phone got crushed and T-Mobile has horrible customer service. Bleh on both of them. Need to find a decent provider.

I get absolutely no reception at work at the UCDMC which is strange because I understand that there is tower literally a couple hundred yards away.
