4-5 bars all the time, oh and it is about the phones. I had 0-2 bars with my v400. And once I got my razr. So many bars. I go all around Sacramento with 4-5 bars. Was this review helpful to you?
Inside Arden Park or Arden Manor Neighborhoods (E and W side, respectively of Watt South of Arden Way) had poor reception..Verizon drops calls inside my home in. Possible new cell tower at Arden Manor's Rushden Park for Surewest... and Verizon co-hosting here may fix this soon... I drove Arden area in 2004 with Sprint and Verizon phone in my lap, and while Sprint had few dead spots, it was consistently low-scoring, while Verizon had generally higher bars but had some holes...Was this review helpful to you?
Have to go to certain areas of the street to make calls. Does not work at all in the house of neigbors house. ATT / Cingular wont even acknowlege the problemWas this review helpful to you?
Sprint reception has been great in my apartment (Sungarden Apts), and in the general area East of Sacramento. I usually have at least 3 bars on my phone network-strength indicator (clear calls, no problems). I have never had a dropped call (unless my battery dies mid-call). I have great reception in my apartment (Sungarden) and in all the office buildings I've worked in, in Rancho Cordova on White Rock between Zinfandel and Sunrise. Occasionally, the speaker phone sound / reception is poor (echo or poor sound quality), but when this happens the voice quality and connection is fine when I switch from speaker to either using the phone as a handset, or plugging in the ear-bud. The speaker phone quality issue may be partly network and partly an issue with the cell phone, too? There's one spot in Folsom, at a friend's house, where I don't have good / consistent reception in their house, and have to go out to their driveway to make / receive calls. But that's the only "dead spot" I've found. I've heard from friends that Verizon also has good reception (confirmed by some of these reviews). Happy hunting / calling...Was this review helpful to you?
The service was never very good but has become worse over the last year. I live in Fair Oaks and I realize that the reception will be poor here, but what about everywhere else? I drive to Fresno and all round Sacramento and can almost always make a call but the quality is poor, often. I tried another phone, same model, same result. Now I am trying a Motorola Razr but I suspect it will be the same = the carrier! Was this review helpful to you?
Cingular's reception is really terrible on this part of Folsom Blvd.(from Watt to Bradshaw). Calls are frequently dropped and the reception bars frequently drop from full reception to none. I'm lucky if I get 2 reception bars in this area. Was this review helpful to you?
Formerly contracted with AT&T which Cingular bought out. I had better service with AT&T, then when Cigular came on board, my bars went from three to one. As of 10 / 02 / 05 something changed; my phone shows no service and I have to drive 3 miles to get a signal. The funny thing is that my wife's Cingular phone shows 3 bars of coverage and we're in the same house! We're both GSM. Cingular says because her phone is on the Orange Band which has Towers within 3 miles of our home. My office cell phone is on the Blue Band which is supported by a Tower over 10 miles away. I think Cingular is going to lose a customer. Was this review helpful to you?
Very good except, for some reason, the new development area, its not way out there but low reception fore sureWas this review helpful to you?
I've always had poor coverage with T-Mobile in North Natomas. I recently got a Motorola V180. The T-Mobile with the V180 is worse than ever. Every call is dropped. A horrible phone and a pretty bad carrierWas this review helpful to you?
after a year with T-mobile, I'm opting out of the contract. could never get any reception in my own house. The customer service technician admits coverage is rated "fair" and there are no plans to put an additional tower in the area. Was this review helpful to you?
