Verizon
We used to have great service here (except in the kitchen for some reason) and we spend a lot of money for our Verizon account. During the last month or so my phone has slowed down so much I have spent hours dumping apps and photos and changing Task Managers to speed up my phone before realizing it was Verizon's lack of coverage that was at fault. I now regularly only have 1 bar, occasionally 2. Of course trying to navigate the horrible morass that is Verizon's "Sell, Sell, Sell, " web page is useless. Good luck, folks.

I've been with T-Mobile for about 8 years and I can honestly say that I am VERY pleased from my rate plan, to signal strength AND the best customer service in the industry! Over all my reception in most parts of town is very good. I have had small issues here and there but nothing major that would make me jump to another carrier. Most of the signal issues that I do have usually occur indoors and in select buildings with a lot of steel and concrete. And there are times when I'm at home that I may decide to disable the Wi-Fi fully utilizing the T-Mobile LTE network. A lot of people tell me Verizon and AT&T have larger coverage area but the thing that I've noticed that stands out with my carrier is the overall signal and sound quality! The biggest is not necessarily always the best! I can't see myself leaving T-mobile anytime soon if at all!

I just switched from AT&T to save some money. I've had service for two days and am pretty disappointed. With AT&T I had LTE almost everywhere. With T-Mobile I usually get only 2 bars and mostly 4g. Sometimes LTE. Went to SF today and had better coverage. But some places near the beach no signal. I'd say it definitely is a step down but what can I expcet. There's a reason it's cheaper. Hopefully it will get better. I do have to say though. I streamed music all the way from SF to Sac no problem. So while its spotted and low signal. It did work most the time.

In the house we get 2 to 3 bars. Calls are never dropped and seem to come through okay. Overall happy with cell service. I have a Tracfone android phone that uses the Verizon cell system.

Haven't had a problem and Internet is super fast go T-Mobile and I pay 60 for unlimited ever thing with insurance :)

No reception in house. Get 1 bar sometimes. Have to go outside for reception and service is slow. AT&T coverage shows as good coverage area which is incorrect.

The negative would be in terms of cost. Verizon is expensive in terms of monthly cost with two users, and two phones, costing around $150 / month. But I'll admit that signal strength in the Sacamento region doesn't appear to ever be a problem. I'd love to switch to a lower cost, but from what I'm reading, I think I'll stick with Verizon.

Poor outside and zero inside my house Seems like cell phone carriers just don't care about Woodland CA. But it's where all the growth is so... pay attention!

We in Crocker Ranch area behind La Provence Restaurant. Have had terrible reception in this area for most carriers... you see cars pulled off on the side of the road heading into the area so their calls will not drop! We have had Sprint for almost 20 years in West Roseville and our kids have tried other carriers, with AT&T being the worst. We have finally had enough of Sprint telling us to just keep reporting it and that 4g and better coverage is coming! Just need to choose the best of the worst coverage out here... looks like Verizon beats the others?!
