AT&T

Terrible reception all across MCBH. Slow data services, and no towers on base. I often switch between UMTS and LTE just to try and see what service provider manages better

Calls can’t even be made. If they do they drop or fail several times before going through. SMS texts also struggle to transmit.

Need to increase cell coverage in these areas. Very poor coverages either 1 bar or none, which drains the battery since phone is always searching for signal. Missed calls

We live in an area where mountains are all around us. We have NO phone (DSL) or cable to provide cell service. We have been using ATT cellphone for years and have incredible connection and fairly fast internet. Lately our hotspot is registering between 20-60 mbps which is not bad, certainly enough bandwidth to watch 4K HD televison over Netflix / Amazon etc. We have been with ATT for many years and use about 1 T of data a month, and have NEVER been throttled. We have many items on our ATT hotspot including an Arlo system, all work perfectly. Today service is crawling, and I called ATT and they told me the tower in our area has a problem, and is being worked on. For $200 a month we use our phones for everything, tablet for everything, run two PC's and watch a lot of 4K HD televtion each week. While I am sure service would be better with a cable and probably cheaper, when you are stuck between mountains on a mountain in the middle of the Pacific Ocean you can only be soo critical.

The signal in EWA BEACH and Kapolei is terrible and the closer to the shore the worse it gets. If you look on T-MOBLEs signal map I should have a decent signal but it's totally wrong. I live a little less then a mile from the ocean front and my signal is terrible, 1 to 2 bars of 4G not LTE. Where I work in Kapolei (Campbell Industrial Park) right by the water the signal is even worse. I am lucky to get a couple bars of EDGE. T-Mobile sent me a signal booster for my home and that hasn't helped at all, if I had payed for that booster I would have been pissed. I switched from AT&T because they were charging me an arm and a leg but now I wish I had stayed with them, at least I had full LTE bars and didn't have to worry about dropping or missing a call. T-Mobile you need to put up another tower closer to the ocean front in EWA BEACH and KAPOLEI!

Left ATT fearful of Verizon prices, but they are the same. Verizon has more towers then any other service, BUT not where I live and I learn this AFTER I commit..Great, I can use my phone anywhere but where I live. Literally cant use my phone; so once contract up, gotta find something new for Waimanalo. sad... Waimanalo is treated like hillbillies..Just not right to take my contract knowing I cant use phone.

Poor reception, cannot use my data plan with Verizon, I must use my home wifi for internet coverage.

At times, because of the cell tower location, we get no reception. It's not unusual to see people walking the street with their phones in the air looking for a signal.

Just moved into Kapolei area and reception is fustrating. We also use our phones for hotspot and it’s terrible here. Do we need to switch carriers? That would suck! We had T-Mobile for years.
