Verizon
Best network my a$$. The reception from Hauula to about Kahaluu is so poor. Wouldn't be so bad if every one else was the same way. But ATT is way better on that side. Goodbye high rate plans and phillipino customer service.

I've never dropped a call in the past two years I've lived on this island. I get reception all over base with no issues.

5 Bars are the norm near the top of Kamehame Ridge. 3G reception is excellent.

Had many drop calls from AT&T switched to Verizon hoping to get better coverage. Big let down weak signals in many areas and customer service SUCK's. They need to put up as many sites as he others. There bsites a far apart and that causes weak, spoty or no service. Had 4 bars with AT&T and now have only 2. Big mistake wish I had gone with someone who cares. erizon don't care and so is att. Must keep my landline so as to have some communications in time of need. Verizon's ads are very misleading. All lies.

Excellent reception in the Davies Pacific Building and surrounding. I've never had a dropped call at work while on Nextel's network.

Reception is great. Internet is really fast and I laughed at the girl trying to get web access on her iphone!

No reception at all in Waimea-Kauai. All other people I was with had no problems: AT&T, Verizon.

Cannot get good reception in home. If used on second floor receotion improves but is still spotty. Must go out of development to get good coverage.

Dropped calls and very splotchy call quality when connected. Will not use Nextel at home because I know call will blank out in middle of call - guaranteed. Back out on the highway is ok but whats the point? Will switch carriers soon. Just doing my research on who best to switch to.

I have no reception at all inside Sheraton while my friends who use AT&T have 4 or 5 bars. I often miss call around Honolulu. I only get a miss call message after the call has been missed. It sucks. Unfortunately, I just committed to a 2-year agreement because I wanted a new phone. If there is no serious improvement in the next 2 years, I am switching to AT&T.
