T-Mobile

This has got to be the biggest joke for a phone company. My service just turns off and on at will, I can be sitting still and have 1 bar (yeah only 1 bar) of service and not move and suddenly my 1 bar goes to no bar. I have to wait for anyone to come home so I can use their hot spot just so I can do my work as well as homeschool with my son. T-Mobile is useless and the worst service I have ever had!

I'm using Straighttalk, but Straighttalk use Verizon Towers. My Neighbor next door has Verizon and she has the same zero to no bar problem I have. We both had two bars prior to around July 1st 2022. So something has changed about the Verizon signal since then! Neither Verizon or Straight Talk will fix it!

I switched from Straitalk to Verison to get better wifi service, and it was a huge mistake. Let's start with you CAN NOT get a human on the service line - it's all automated. Second, the call service was HORRIBLE, with 10bar and an average dBn strength of 110 or worse. That meant the wifi-based Internet was equally HORRIBLE with a speed average under 1 MPS and often around 0.07. (Dial-up is 0.05) What really angered me was being told that the tower was "under construction" for a year - total BS. My buddy who works on cell towers says it takes about 2-3 weeks to build a new one. Switched to AT&T and found my speed went to from <1MPS to over 40 and my call quality improved similarly.

Let's start with the TMobile store staff in Tualatin told me they needed a booster to get a signal IN THE STORE. I average 110 dBm (bars are an almost meaningless gauge of signal strength but I average one), which means almost every call drops. I work from home, and it killed me to move here, with 64 CS calls in 13 months, and nothing gets better. Maybe why T-Mobile staff told me the best thing I can do is cancel and go to AT&T. So yesterday I switched to AT&T and my wifi-based internet speed went from 0.07 Mbps to 43.5. My call strength was 9 times better too.

We have been Verizon customers for about 12 years now and the service was great, but since around 2 years ago the service gradually kept getting worse! Now as soon as we drive into our neighborhood we lose service completely!

Cell reception is awful since probably September 2021. I routinely get one bar in lots of neighborhoods making it impossible to call a Lyft for instance. I even get 1-2 bars on the regular in my home, which has wireless mesh wifi and is 2 blocks from a cell tower. The other day I was running late to work due to a traffic jam on 84 and despite dialing the office 5 times, the call wouldn't connect. This is beyond nuts.

The nearest tower is only three blocks away, but even still I routinely max out at two bars outside and one bar inside. Today, no reception either inside or out, but T-Mo insists that everything is running fine! Thx for nothing.

Since September my reception has been poor and often have to go outside to continue a call. I depend on mobile data for maps but often there's no coverage.

Unless on WIFI my service is useless. At first Mobile said it was because they were rolling the 5G but this has been going on all all 2021 and it is extremely frustrating. I am paying for a service that is not available when I need it. Zoom meetings are not a thing, the calls drop back to back. A doctor appointment took 6 times the ft calling me back. How tedious is that? And while at a park, in the middle of the city. when trying to get connections to follow a person on social media, I complained that I had T-Mobile, hence I couldn't access the internet. The other person looked at me smiling and said โI have Cricket (the cheapest service out there in my opinion) and my internet is working well โ. ๐ Again, how embarrassing and frustrating! In my household, we all have different iPhone models from 7 plus, 8 plus, and 11 pro. We are all having the same problems with the dropping of calls and low to non existing internet. The worst is when trying to use internet to get directions or send emails and the little wheel just donโt stop going around trying to connect, and time is of the essence.
