Verizon

I've lived in this area for 12+ years and I've never consistently received such poor cell signal coverage / reception. Bought a new phone last year on Verizon's recommendation to try to improve my reception yet I still only get 1-2 bars 3G (both inside and outside). I know Verizon is aware of the problem but I just don't understand why there are still no Verizon towers in this entire area (SW Portland / Tigard). I'm no telecom expert but I'd feel better if there was at least 1 Verizon tower on this side of town or even in Tigard / Beaverton.

Moved from Verizon to AT&T. I immediately noticed the 4g lte speeds are incredibly slow downtown. While Verizon was slower than AT&T in some areas, like the sellwood area, it was still fast enough for me. Now, with AT&T, the speeds are very slow, it's like I'm on a 3G network when I'm supposedly on lte.

A Verizon customer for years with great reception until past month. My iPhone 5s always had 5 bars; now it struggles to keep 2. I can't load videos, access apps. I'm perplexed and disappointed.

I work on the third floor next to a window. 4G LTE speeds have always been slow, but over the last two-three weeks it's abysmal. I can't even complete an Ookla SpeedTest -- it "times out" after several minutes, with a download speed < 0.5Mbps. That's not a misprint. Less than 1 / 2 a Mbps! My signal strength averages -97 dBm, which isn't great but it's not terrible either. So... a device issue? Unlikely as co-workers with different VZW devices experience the same issue. Too much traffic and network congestion? Perhaps. An actual dead zone? Maybe. I don't really know, but whatever's going on is maddening - especially with the "premium" rates VZW customers pay. *Ironically, both speed and signal strength improve as I move inward, closer to the center of the building.

People can't hear me all the time but I can hear them.

Sprint is a piece of crap! I've had them for almost two years and they've gotten no better, just worse! Every time I call to ask what the hell I'm paying for when it's supposed to be unlimited 4g LTE, my ass. I get dropped calls and now in my own home I get an error message that says data connection lost. Frustrating! Screw Sprint I'm switching carriers.

Though T-Mobile may have the best coverage as well as the other carriersin my area (ie. Verizon and AT&T) they are Enormously better then Sprint and T-Mobile get's 40mbps down on LTE, plus I get unlimited everything so I'm happy!.

first I ordered only a sim card I already had phone they asked if I wonted a contract or not I told them no contract but turns out they put me under one any way, when it came time to cancel phone they charged me $200. to quit then when I told them to cancel the phone instead of turning phone off they let it go all the way through billing so they could charge more money service is real poor and the company is dishonest.

Still in 2014 such poor coverage is a shame! Shame on you Sprint.

Sprint is the worst As a business person is expect to get LTE in downtown Portland. I've called customer service several times to tell them how I have 1x or no signal. Emails, internet, maps, or any activity is terrible. Was told "towers being upgraded" But wait ! I traveled to San Francisco for business and the Apple campus. I thought to myself "get service here must be great?" But No luck, even in one of the nations most progressive technology cities. Sprint advertises LTE but it's a lie
