Hardly any indoor reception. We get 2 bars in one corner of the house. 1-2 bars outside. this sucks. we moved 12 blocks north and now we have to cancel or change carrier. But, judging by the comments here other carriers aren't much better in our hood. a good old land line may have to suffice. Was this review helpful to you?
cricket is an awesome plan, I get great reception everywhere, and every year when I go to Michigan, I just get some cheap roaming minutes, and the roaming coverage is great too.Was this review helpful to you?
Reception all over Portland is spectacular with this phone. I agree alot has to do with the phone. If you want cricket go to craigslist and buy a higher quality crickeet phone for less dough. My Kyocera I bought from Cricket for too much money was complete garbage. I had intermitten issues with it. After about a week it fell off the bed and the screens shattered. I picked up my Nokia 6165i for 60 bucks from craigslist, and I have not had a single problem since. Only issues I've had are out in Beaverton ner milikan and Murray, at the Murry Business Center, there are a couple of spots where dropped calls are the norm. I think they have a cell jammer inside the building. Was this review helpful to you?
I get good reception, doesn't drop even when I am in the basement. Was this review helpful to you?
I cannot get through a call without it dropping out. The reception fluctuates minute to minute. I am soon switching. There are cell phone towers above the Alziemer's Care Facility between 35th Pl and 37th, so I might pop in and ask them what carrier set them up.Was this review helpful to you?

I must disagree with the January 3rd 2006 comment. I get pretty good reception in the same area that person is. My phone is not supposed to be that great of one, but I have no problems whatsoever. My wife has the Nokia 3210 and she doesn't seem to have any problems with reception either. These are our only phones, and we also have good reception in our basement, which I can't say the same for my parents in our basement with Qwest. They were on roaming for some reason. Was this review helpful to you?
