Only one bar at my house, 2 bars within the subdivision. I can see one cell tower from my house, and another is just a few blocks away... but neither are Verizon. The recent sound wall constructed by the city doesn't help, but getting only one bar in the middle of town is unacceptable. If Verizon doesn't build a cell tower for Sunnyside Rd.(around 152nd) I will switch every phone by the end of the year. Was this review helpful to you?
I have Verizon and my spouse has Sprint. He has to connect to wireless to get the speed I get through 3G on my Verizon Droid X. I get slower speed on our wireless. He's frustrated and considering a move to Verizon, but he is now frustrated with Verizon due to their new limited and expensive data plans. I'm still on an unlimited data plan through Verizon. If I weren't on unlimited, I might opt for a phone and carrier that's cheaper and runs better off wireless - except for the fact that wireless isn't always an option. What to do? Zero to two bars if I am lucky at my house which is a block away from 71st and NE Glisan. At Glisan it jumps to 5 bars. Was this review helpful to you?

Only 1 flashing bar of signal at my apartment in Milwaukie. In Portland I get full signal readout. 3G is an absolute joke, but I knew that from the beginning. VM basically gets Sprint / Boost Mobiles left over 3G bandwidth. :(Was this review helpful to you?

I live off Towle in a "Good" coverage zone (2 bars) according to the T-Mobile coverage map. I generally get 2-3 bars in the house upstairs, and 1-2 bars downstairs. Never had a dropped call (had service for 2 weeks so far). So voice coverage is pretty good. But data service inside buildings SUCKS. 4G signal is apparently very weak, when I'm inside almost any building that's not right next to a tower, I'm on 2G (sometimes full bars on 2G though). I've also noticed a few texts take 45 minutes to come through. Strange. Coverage in some buildings occasionally drops out for text and voice too though. Even in places with full bars outside, if the building is very thick, you may not have ANY reception. So, overall pretty good outdoors, but very spotty in buildings for data, and sometimes talk / text too. Coming from Verizon, which has excellent coverage, it's definitely a step down, but overall it's worth it to me (current plan costs less than 1 / 2 of same Verizon plan). WiFi calling helps where you have WiFi tooWas this review helpful to you?
Bars don't really mean much. Never had a dropped call with Verizon in the Portland area. At home in SW Gresham I get 1-2 bars but still can make and receive calls and send and receive pic / txt messages no problem. Really expensive service so I am trying out T-Mobile. Will keep u posted! Between zero and 3 bars - dropped calls often. Ready to find a better service / phone. Was this review helpful to you?
Every day its a dropped call, I have to go outside to even get someone to hear me. Choppy and distorted most messages do not go through on the first try. Event though my area has coverage according to their map, it does not.Was this review helpful to you?
