AT&T

Ridiculous. Intermittent 4G and only 1 bar for Edge. Crazy. And I just switched from T-Mobile...

I get almost full or totally full bars, however I get zero bandwidth. With the SpeedTest app, I get a "problem connecting to the network" error. Once in a while, the phone will connect to a different tower, and I get an entire 1 bar, however, I get about 300kbps output according to SpeedTest, and can browse the net, stream audio and video, you name it, that is, until it connects back to the closer / stronger tower with nearly full bars, where I get 0 bandwidth, not even 14kbps. Network works fine downtown Portland, at home, at nearly anywhere else in Portland. Could this be a problem with the tower? What's up? Anything I can do? Anyone I can complain to?

We frequently travel with friends who have Verizon and AT&T. Our reception is every bit as consistant as theirs is. Looking forward to LTE however with WIFI on at home and Work there is little need for it except when on the road and doing a web search. Phone is great. We are getting two full work days between charges with heavy phone, email use.

Slow HSPA+ speeds (averaging around 3mbps) and sudden dip-outs in data service. Call quality is perfect, though.

Indoors reception is zero. Outdoors I'm lucky to get one or two bars. Sadly, this is at Oregon's #1 paid tourist attraction--the Oregon Zoo. Verizon and T-Mobile get great reception though.

It is completely unacceptable to have no reception in my own home... in a densly populated suburban town. Rarely do you hear of a Verizon wirelss customer willing to terminate a 17 year relationshp and go to ATT because ATT has better coverage. It's about to happen. I cannot continue to lose calls while on business calls.

Only one bar at my house, 2 bars within the subdivision. I can see one cell tower from my house, and another is just a few blocks away... but neither are Verizon. The recent sound wall constructed by the city doesn't help, but getting only one bar in the middle of town is unacceptable. If Verizon doesn't build a cell tower for Sunnyside Rd.(around 152nd) I will switch every phone by the end of the year.

I have Verizon and my spouse has Sprint. He has to connect to wireless to get the speed I get through 3G on my Verizon Droid X. I get slower speed on our wireless. He's frustrated and considering a move to Verizon, but he is now frustrated with Verizon due to their new limited and expensive data plans. I'm still on an unlimited data plan through Verizon. If I weren't on unlimited, I might opt for a phone and carrier that's cheaper and runs better off wireless - except for the fact that wireless isn't always an option. What to do? Always has full bars except for when in the West Hills where 3G is super slow... 3G speed is pretty good but if my phone didn't have Wifi I would be screwed..
