I am so sad to leave TING, which has the best customer service and the best billing practices, but they use SPRINT towers for their coverage and that really sucks. I rarely have service in my home on Phinney Ridge, never at work and even round about town I am often cut-off mid-conversation for no apparent reason. Also, this summer, when I was driving cross-country, I had NO bars between St. Paul Minnesota and Coeur d'Alene Idaho, so the phone would have been no use to me if I was stuck on the roadside and needed to call AAA. Couldn't even receive texts. No bars for days. What's up with that. I am switching to AT&T even though I am already so mad about their abusive customer service practices. I can't wait for TING to improve their phone service so I can go back to them! TING dump SPRINT!Was this review helpful to you?
I get in-and-out-service at my place, the only place I can actually make calls is being up against my front window facing East. Could be the airplane flight path or the brick / concrete building that's causing my trouble but either way... I basically have NO SERVICE.Was this review helpful to you?
Recently, in the past couple weeks, I have lost cell phone reception at my house. I am just above east lake sammamish parkway. I have tried calling ATT but no help. Anyone else having this problem? Was this review helpful to you?
I am always the one with service in this area because all of my friends have T-Mobile or Sprint. They don't get service. I do. The only time I have to go without it was when we go camping into the backwoods or out on the islands, which I find acceptable and, frankly, satisfying. Was this review helpful to you?
In June, service was fine. Now it's one bar and useless. Thank God for office wifi. Was this review helpful to you?
Consistently bad coverage in our neighborhood, maybe the hill blocks signal to the west side of Alki, but I can get 0-4 bars, (changes constantly) even while sitting still. Was this review helpful to you?
Based on a friend's experience who tested Sprint, T-Mobile and AT&T, the only carrier that has even semi-decent reception in Lake Hills is AT&T. I have to maintain a land line because my Verizon service is so limited. I get 1-2 bars on a good day and dropped calls and "can't send" text message bounce-backs all the time. Was this review helpful to you?
I discovered today, unfortunately months into the problems, that T-Mobile is able to send out a check of the local antennae as well as a booster that can be tried for 3000 square feet over particular locations, but "Customer Service" does not offer to do so even if the problems are called in repeatedly for a particular account, not even for multiple lines and for multiple locations on an account, UNLESS the caller threatens to cancel the plan. I was explicitly told, when I pointed out in a call to the cancellations department (which T-Mobile dropped three times and so I finally called in via AT&T) that I'd complained repeatedly over six months, that according to company policy no rectification or credit is offered unless there is a cancellation threat, and company policy is also that no credit is offered for the months of lost time until the customer figures that out.Was this review helpful to you?
Often says "no service," even though we can see cell towers out our window. Even wi-fi calls are hit and miss, despite the fact that our modem is 10 feet or less away. Can go from having signal to suddenly no signal when sitting on the couch without moving. When we can make calls, they are constantly dropped and / or often garbled, which really stinks considering both my wife and I use our phones for work. Have talked to T-Mobile about the problem, replaced our phones, etc. but finally gave up when no help or solution after 6 months of working on the problem. Now just waiting out our contract so we can switch! Was this review helpful to you?
I have yet to have a good enough data connection to post to snapchat or load posts from other social media sites even when my phone says I have a full LTE signal. I'm completely reliant on wi-fi for most data using activities. Was this review helpful to you?
