AT&T
My carrier is Consumer Cellular who leases ATT and TMobile. I have 3 phones with ATT Sims. Since 6 / 19 / 18, I have been without service. Carrier states ATT updating network resulting in problem and requested I change out my SIM Cards. After new SIMS and all the pitfalls of doing so including loss of all visual voicemail, service worked for only 1 day and back to square one -- no service. Can't call support as my 3 lines are dead. I don't know if this is ATT issue or not but losing confidence in CC which was once a good carrier.

Verizon is a huge huge JOKE in Puget Sound- period! I can all 4 bars of LTE alright... .but service is still damn too slow! So either data streaming in choked or some other gimmit is in play. Very unfortunate and sad. Seriously contemplating switching back to AT&T!

Just switched to T-Mobil from ATT using an iPhone 8 Plus. I only get the same 2 bars I received from ATT? I am at the top of the hill with no obstructions. Clear view to downtown and the west??

I get only. 1-2 stars in house and yard. Very surprised.

I have reamed Verizon a new one about their hideous telephone signal strength here at my lower CapHill home for over two years now. A cursory Verizon cell tower location search lists only 3 towers within 3 miles of my location with the nearest being a whopping 2 miles away (UGH). A similar search for AT&T and T-Mobile from this same location shows at least 20 towers (each) with a few of them within 1 / 4 mile or less. I am located on the 3rd floor of a wood structure building with partial visual views of downtown SEA (Columbia Center etc) and can muster -110dBm signal strength at best on their 4G network (i.e., on a really good day IF I am super lucky and all the stars in the heavens align). I live in the highest population density residential neighborhood in all of SEA with many many cell phone users, yet despite my constant haranging of Verizon (both local and corporate), they feel no incentive / obligation to radically improve their network in this high density use area (really Verizon???) Shame on you! BOTTOM-LINE: All other things being equal, I would recommend avoiding / dumping Verizon if you live anywhere on lower CapHill in SEA.

No internet service for the last two months. I have worked in this building for 3 years. Reception used to be fine. About two months ago I lost the ability to use internet on my phone from this location. My phone works fine elsewhere. This appears to be a trend for AT&T in Downtown Seattle. If you spend a fair amount of time here avoid AT&T. For the record, I have a business phone with service from Verizon and it works fine in the same location.

Have T-Mobile, using an iPhone 5. Noticed a general drop in coverage and quality starting mid July. Horrible coverage along 3 and 4th Ave NW. Toward 5th Ave NW there is a sudden jump in signal strength - to 3 / 5 dots. West end of my apartment (midway between 4th and 5th) I get one dot coverage, east end is zero. My company iPad (AT&T) gets 4 / 5 dots at the 4th ave end of apartment, so I assume the reception difference is all about provider contracts with tower owners.

Starting in October 2017, data and texts (regular and iMessage) do not work in downtown Seattle. AT&T claims it’s my phone, even though coworkers are having the same issue, Apple says my phone is fine, and I don’t have this issue anywhere outside of downtown. Defeats the point of paying for a smart phone if it doesn’t work 5 / 7 days of the week.

Horrible horrible reception. I can rarely connect to the internet from my condo. If I'm lucky I have 3 bars, but usually it's 1 or 2. I constantly have to reboot my iPhone to "reset" the connection. Calls fade in and out. It's a total joke. AT&T said something to the extent of the signal being blocked by all the "tall buildings in the area". Um HELLO, you are a wireless carrier, get your act together.
