AT&T

5 Out of 5 (5 stars) | All Over the Valley | All Surrounding Metros, Phoenix, AZ 85016 |

Okay, so my daily area is longer than just the corridor, but I an very happy with AT&T from the heart of Phoenix were into Old Town. I never see it below 3 bars, Usually I'm getting 4or5. The data is nice and fast. Keeps me productive on my iPhone and iPad comfortable enough that I do not need to go back home or office for WiFi or Ethernet. I Tether my MacBookProRetina and stay reliably connected all the time. Client always ask me what carrier is best in this area. I am not biased, I'm constantly checking and comparing the 4 majors. Honestly, AT&T gives me the best constant coverage reliability. T-Mobile is a close second, but with data speeds on LTE sometimes 2-5X's faster. We recently dropped Verizon for incontinence, andSprint's data is simply horribly unreliable. All in all, we find the GSM carriers to be the most reliable with data devices, (AT&T,T-Mobile). V and S do okay with calls, but why use them for anything else? a GSM carrier in the valley is truly THE BEST choice!

Sprint

1 Out of 5 (1 star) | 7th Ave. | Jefferson , Phoenix, AZ 85007 |

90% of the time, I have absolutely no service. At home (Peoria) I have 1x if I'm lucky. Webpages never load, apps are always freezing, and service is extremely spotty. Usually I'm okay with calls. But there's absolutely no chance of me having a successful facetime call in the valley. I work in central Phoenix and even have terrible service here. It seems that wherever I go in the valley I never have 4G. I pay money to have absolutely horrible web service. Come to think of it, I've never even seen 4G available on my phone. 3G is rare.Even if my phone claims I have service, it's terrible and lagging. Sprint is getting worse and worse by the day in the Phoenix area.

T-Mobile

5 Out of 5 (5 stars) | E. Chandler Blvd.& S. 25th St. | The Foothills, Phoenix, AZ 85048 |

Early last year, there was extremely bad T-Mobile service in the Foothills, usually I would get Edge, or 1 bar 4G. I fixed this by personally requesting a T-Mobile tower to be build in the SRP electric building located by E. Chandler Blvd.and S. 25th street. I also emailed SRP in inquiry about leasing the space for the tower. Months rolled by, and there was nothing done, I temporarily used AT&T pre-paid because my T-Mobile service was just not good enough. One day when I popped my T-Mobile sim back into my phone, I notice 4 SOLID bars of LTE, in which I was very suprised and happy to see. It turns out that they did open the tower, I emailed the T-Mobile support agent to thank him. Now I get solid LTE in my house and internet speeds of 70 MBPS. Very glad to be back on my unlimited T-Mobile plan.

Service is fine as long as I'm in the city but let me go outside T Mobiles comfort zone I get butkiss. I'm planning a trip to Woods Canyon Lake this summer and worry that something might happen during those two weeks and I will have NO Service.

Verizon

18 years same address. Verizon customer for 10 plus years. Cell phone reception was never an issue, until October 2015, until now now 1 to 2 bars signal strength. 1 sometimes none. Horribly slow. This is BS, they said to get new SIM card- I did- made no difference!
