Can't keep up a conversation going because of bad reception. Extremely frustrated on the many dropped calls!

I think they were right, guys. Sprint must have been upgrading the area in June-July 2012. I got some dropped calls back then. But I am pretty sure it is fixed now. I haven't had any dropped calls recently. And my phone is like a million years old. I don't think the number of bars matters much.

I work in this area and have poor to fair reception through the South Los Angeles / Inglewood area with pockets of good reception between the Harbor Freeway to LAX. However, on my 4G Android phone I can't complain.

I've been an AT&T customer for almost 15 years. I was always very satisfied with the coverage, customer service, reception, and cell plans. All that came to an eventual end when Cingular took over. I asked a rep at an AT&T / Cingular store if work was being done on satellites or something because I could no longer get a signal in my house. He said upgrades were being made to their towers and all should be fine in a couple of months. He also told me that in the meantime, I could purchase a signal booster for my house for $150! I declined the "offer". Over a full year later, cell reception still has not improved in my home. I can't even get a solid signal in my backyard. This from a company that claims to have America covered??? False advertising at the very least. Indifference to their customers, for sure. Boo to AT&T for getting out of the cellular business and boo to Cingular for ruining the good reputation and customer interest of AT&T.

Just like the comment from June 6, I'm also in that area of West Hollywood and have had no problems where I live for two years, then all of a sudden mid-May I started getting dropped call after dropped call in my apt. When I have a conversation the quality is poor, and I'm lucky to see one bar on my phone. I called once and they said they're upgrading the area (sounds like the typical BS excuse) and the next time they say the problem is my phone. Will see how things go a few more weeks but Sprint, I'm losing patience, and you're gonna lose yet another customer.

My Sprint used to be pretty reliable in my apartment and now recently the reception is terrible. I do have an older phone and went to the Sprint store see if I could get the phone's software updated. She did something to it that she said might improve things but it wasn't a software update per se. I don't know - she didn't explain it very well. Upshot is no difference. I can't understand how I can be with good coverage at one time and now totally unreliable coverage in more recent times. I'm smack dab in the middle of West Hollywood for chrissakes!

I now have lived in three places within the Los Angeles area for the last 5 years and I never have a consistent connection without dropouts. West Hollywood, The Hollywood Dell, and now Griffith Park and always a problem. People hate talking to me on the phone because of the drops and the preferred method of communication has come down to text messaging. I feel like a battered wife who keeps expecting her husband to change his abusive behavior. Sprint... you suck.

Mount Washington has no reception for Sprint, ATT, or Verizon. I've heard that MetroPCS has service up here.

I am so extemely dissapointed with the Sprint signal at home. I have zero bars almost all the time, my calls drop, texting takes forever to send and not to mention the Internet, can't even open up a page!. Ived tried calling Sprint customer service n they provide zero help at all. I think it's time to swap to tmobile, what a shame considering how nice the phones the Sprint carries are.
