Been with T-Mobile since before they were Voicestream. Generally pleased with reception when I travel. Terrible reception in my neighborhood though. T-Mo has great customer service. Am about to make the difficult decision to leave them. Gotta have an iPhone and it doesn't look likely for T-Mo.

Verizon says this is a marginal coverage area and that the same is true for AT&T in this area. (I had an AT&T work cell a couple years ago and the reception in Peachtree Hills was terrible.) I have tried a network extender in our house and are about to downgrade from 4G to 3G phones, as Verizon says 3G works better in spotty areas. Pain in the neck.

I never have a problem with Spint around my work area and hardly ever in the Atlanta area. Occasionally will have a challenge in the Smyrna area but not often enough to consider changing carriers. I changed to Sprint from Verizon and in my opinion Sprint is by FAR the best value for the money.

Got Uverse. TV was up 95% of the time. Phone up 95% of the time. Internet was up just 20% of the time. Had Uverse for 3-4 months. Went through about 9 technician visits, gave up. When I called, they tried to make me troubleshoot their network by listening to a machine. Insisted on sending technicians to check things that weren't broken. This neighborhood is too far from their VRAM. Salespeople lie. Internet is worthless throughout most of the day because it "loses sync" every sixty seconds or so. Worse than Comcast, some say.

I moved to the area July 30 2012 and can not get any reception unless I go Roswell Rd then I get T-Moble Network. My phone keeps connecting to AT&T network tower but its not giving any network acess. I called to moved 4 times about the issue since July and they still have not resolved this issue. I plan to change service to Sprint if they can not resolved this issue faster.

I purchased a micro cell hoping that my reception would at least allow me to make calls within my home. This helped for awhile but now I find that the micro cell is unable to locate a signal so I'm back to no bars and horrible reception, if I can make a call at all. I will change providers when the contract expires... ..this is too frustrating. Makes me want to go back to a land line!

reception along Briarcliff Rd is horrible with any of the providers. We have an ATT microcell in our house which gives us a full signal... as long as the power doesn't go out. Dead spots include the Echo Lake / Lakeside High School area, Oak Grove, Briarcliff Rd between Clairmont and N Druid Hills

I commented on this site almost a year ago, and have complained to Sprint endlessly about the poor data connection / speed (3g or 4g) AND the random cell phone drops on GA400. Now I am experiencing many "network failures" on my texts. it shows message not sent but my recipient says the message is being delivered 5 or 6 times. I contacted Sprint this morning if they had an app I could install that would capture signal history and GPS to help them visualize how bad it is - of course they said no. I formally asked for a technician to visit the area with meters to test signals and post a report somewhere. Glad my contract is almost up.
