This is where I work and I know for a fact that there are at least 180 homes within two blocks of this intersection... and the reception is almost nil--not only for data, but also for voice calling as well.

Verizon has a decent network, but their customer relations and support of your devices (other than iPhone) are HORRIBLE! Still no updates and now they've retired my phone after only 7 months!

Not only is ATT's uptown coverage notoriously poor, but it often changes suddenly... as in, going from weak reception to zero reception. ATT's customer service response to complaints is always the same: "All the towers are in service."

When I lived in the warehouse district had no problems. Every time went to the quarter, no service. That was 2 years ago. Nothing has changed, in the quarter no service, battery drain. Just outside, 4g with no problems.

In general, my phone service is fair-to-middling compared to the VERIZON service I once had. (In fact, everyone used my cell during a hurricane evac because Verizon had the best - and sometimes only - coverage. Verizon did not give me a break on the resulting very expensive bill and that's why I left.) I have dead spots in my apartment and in my neighborhood and pretty spotty reception around my area in general and there are odd delays in messaging and voicemail that have created some problems. Time to move along...

Whenever I approach this intersection (from the northwest) while driving, my bars typically drop to 1 or None. I can never count on calls and texts going through, from here to the River. Various phones (same T-Mo SIM) over a 7-year span, same problem. Reported to T-Mobile Customer Service who - while apologetic and empathetic - could offer no real help.

Reception is good with Verizon in the Carrollton Neighborhood but fades a little closer to the Mississippi River, especially in the Black Pearl area closer to the River. Otherwise, Verizon is the ONLY service in New Orleans worth messing with, period!

For the past few weeks, it has been EXTREMELY frustrating to send messages, esp in my house. I can keep trying to send the simplest message to someone and it consistently says "Network error". It's really irritating when I get messages but cant send a reply. The only way I can text with no problems is when I'm out and about. I will be calling Sprint tomorrow to get to the bottom of this. This is completely unacceptable. Very disappointed.

4G is a joke. Even when My phone says it has 4G (which is barely ever) it's super slow. I can barely get through a 3 minute YouTube video with out wifi. I did a little experiment with my friend,s T MOBILE phone. I started the same exact 3 min 15 second video on her phone the exact time I did on my Sprint phone. Hers finished 2 minuets and 30 seconds before mine... I dropped at least half my calls. Honestly, it's probably closer to 75%. And almost ever time I call someone they comment on how bad the connection is. Embarassing. I've called and complained alot. Sprint acknowledges my service is way below standards and they just lie and say they are "updating the towers" and I can pay the $300 early termination fee to cancel if I'm unhappy. I would also have to send the phone I paid $350 for back to them. I can't afford to cancel. But I might have to because I live by myself and I wouldn't be able to call 911 from my house if I needed to.

I've been experiencing limited to no service for almost 4months now. Called Sprint several times only to hear a scripted line of " The towers are being updated in my area for 4G coverage and the problem will be resolved within two days okay let me say once again this has been now 4 months. I've be a customer for over 10yrs. and I'm just completing over Sprint at this point. Is it too much to ask for quality service or at least allow me to pay according to the level of service I'm receiving !
