Sprint
There is virtually ZERO reception in this park! In fact, the reception is so bad that my phone typically loses the Sprint network entirely and goes into roaming mode. As far as data goes, my phone is basically useless here. I HATE IT! Stupid thing is, if you look up this location on the Sprint website, their coverage maps shows that it has 3G available. What a bunch of CRAP! Lies, lies, all lies.

Sprint used to be tolerable. 3G was usable and 4G (WiMax) was a struggle to get a signal but when it did it was OK. Nothing to get excited about. As of this review my 3G speeds have dropped to 0.02Mb (insanely horrible!) and WiMax no longer works at all. WiMax was pretty bad but it was better than nothing and now I can't even get that. I can get texts and phone calls OK but the data is a complete joke. I guess it's unlimited because you can't actually use enough of it to be a problem anyway. I like the phones and the prices but the data speeds are worse than dial up on a Windows 95 machine.

Terrible experience with T-Mobile. My wife and I had a no contract monthly plan which worked OK for 3 months. Then with no explanation we would sporadically loose our signal which was normally 3 or 4 bars. When the signal would return we were still unable to make or receive calls or texts. This issue would only occur in our neighborhood. Tried Tmobile's customer service which was completely worthless. This went on for a week before I had to drop them.

The data is slow on 3g. The 4g does not exist. The phone reception is spotty at best. Sprint treats the area around here and the Liberty area like the are step kids. I guess it is not Overland Park, so Sprint does not care. They have promised to increase the voice and data coverage for the last 3 years. It would be nice if they did. We have nice houses just like Overland Park, but I guess Sprint would like to see everyone on this side of the State Line go to ATT or Verizon. Get with it Sprint, your not even covering these areas with your LTE.

I have been with Sprint for more than 10 years and man it has been a real struggle to stay loyal to this company. The service is going backwards with phone quality dropping all over the place. You can not drive down Gregory Blvd.which is a main east / west street in the middle of Kansas City. You can not have a phone conversation (hands-free) for more than 10-15 minutes without the call dropping. I have to use my phone while I work all over this city and I have to constantly call the people back and burn up what few minutes I have going threw the call menu's again and waiting on hold again because of dropped calls. Lets not talk about the enhanced 3g data because that has slowed to a crawl try 60 kbs download. I give up. Sprint will you ever change

Just because I am paying low rate does not mean that I have to suffer. I have been with Sprint for 15 years and still cann't find an equivilant in service personal or rate.

cricket sucks. Data speeds insanely sloooow! They cap data after 1gb!

The form that we must fill out doesn't take into account a large known area, only cross roads / streets. The hole I'm talking about here runs from just north of Englewood Rd.north to an unknown point north of 62nd Street. It runs from Broadway to N. Harrison Street. This spot is contained mostly within the Gladstone, MO city limits. We moved here in the summer of 2010. The reception was just fine. About 6 months later the reception started deteriorating. We are now at the point where our phones show between 0 and 3 bars on average at any given time. I fully expect this to deteriorate to nothingness as this is what happened where we used to live (near Waukomis and 64th Streets). I have contacted AT&T numerous times about this problem within the past 1+ year (about our current residence location) with no positive results (actually, the same results came over at the other house, too). These results contained only excuses, plain bull scat stories and suggestions for us to buy a "booster" for our phones at an additional expense of just over $200 to get service that we are paying close to $200 a month to begin with. A 'booster', in deed! Yeh, riiiiiiight! _NOT!_ going to happen! Why should we do that????? Our contract is up until coming September. As soon as that contract is up we _WILL_ be going to another cell carrier.... as long as they don't use AT&T's cell towers. Consumer Cellular does, so we can't go to them. :(

MyTouch 4G is barely a 2G since tethering to my computer doesn't work for videos or NetFlix. I do not have problems with dropped calls ever. My frustration level is at its peak. And unfortunately only 1 in 25 customer reps isn't a real incompetent idiot.

Switched to Cricket to get better reception and that didn't happen. Only get maybe 2 bars and have lots of missed calls or messages mysteriously appear after the fact. Now it shows roaming almost all the time or it beeps saying no service. Dropped calls all the time. Sad because this is supposed to be only phones in home... Now considering getting house line instead. Cust service is in India...
