My galaxy 7 Verizon phone with service via straight talk always had decent signal here. When it died I bought a galaxy 20 5g on my wife's Sprint plan. What a joke. I have to remember to turn cell data off at home, and choose lte manually everywhere else, or data doesn't work at all. I've yet to see a byte of data flow over 5g. It works over lte, but using Sprint as a carrier means 5g is a non starter in this area, and even lte is sub par.Was this review helpful to you?
Live across the street from Washington Square Mall. No signal inside my home. None. I have to leave my home and roam the complex trying to get a bar or two. Even when I manage to make a connection, it will often drop. Text is OK, phone useless.Was this review helpful to you?
It’s been this way since I switched from T-Mobile on March 6, 2020. There is little to no service inside my house. I’ve talked to Verizon multiple times until a T1 in tech took pity on me and escalated me to a T2 who said network extenders were back ordered since I’m not the only person dealing with this issueWas this review helpful to you?
Verizon service has been deteriorating over the last 18 months and at this time in Northwest Portland it is very erratic and unstable. One day 4 bars in my house the next day 1 bar in the same location. Makes no sense. More dropped calls every day. Reception is not too bad in the morning but is increasingly worse throughout the day. Not much help from customer service. If I walk 50 feet northwest, reception improves dramatically. I have been with Verizon for over 25 years. Maybe time for a change. I cannot use my phone in my office. Not a good thing.Was this review helpful to you?
Signal strength usually about -118 dBm., one bar. Can't use Google Play Store because there is not enough service, even with WiFi in use. During high usage periods, my phone sometimes locks on to "emergency calls only". All this and I am only 1 mile from nearest AT&T tower, across flat land.Was this review helpful to you?

Down to 1 bar. Hotspot unusable. 2 We used to have at least 3 bars. I went to Verizon store for assistance and their only suggestion was to purchase a $200 booster.
